Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality standards for our products and processes.

Your primary responsibility will be to develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems, conduct inspections, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of quality management systems, including ISO 9001, Six Sigma, and Lean Manufacturing. You will also possess excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, as well as strong communication and teamwork abilities.

  • Develop and implement quality control procedures and standards.
  • Conduct inspections and audits of materials, components, and finished products.
  • Maintain documentation related to quality inspections, test reports, and non-conformance reports.
  • Investigate quality issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Use statistical process control techniques to monitor and improve manufacturing processes.
  • Operate and interpret results from a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) to ensure precise measurement and verification of components.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve manufacturing processes and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Support new product introduction processes by establishing quality requirements.
  • Support quality management system certifications.
  • Train and support staff in quality-related procedures and best practices.
