Nua Healthcare Services is a leading provider of private healthcare in Ireland, specialising in residential and supported living services for individuals with complex support needs.

We are seeking experienced psychiatric nurses to join our multidisciplinary team within our growing approved centre, which provides specialist inpatient care through a model of recovery and rehabilitation.

The centre offers a range of treatments and supports, including psychological interventions, self-care activities, and medication management.

As a psychiatric nurse at Nua Healthcare, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to individuals who avail of our service. You will work closely with our team to develop and implement health assessments, medication plans, and individualised support plans.

You will also promote good relationships with primary healthcare services in each individual's community and communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team.

In addition, you will identify individualised supports and work in partnership with the person, their family, and other supports outlined within their personal plan.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Safe management and administration of medications
  • Supporting the delivery of effective front-line support to all service users
  • Ensuring that all health action plans are delivered appropriately
  • Promoting good relationships with primary healthcare services
