About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining the organisation's SAP Landscape, including designing, implementing, and maintaining the organization's SAP Landscape. This will involve collaborating with other teams to identify requirements for the SAP Landscape and prioritizing development efforts.

The role requires close collaboration with other teams to ensure the platform is secure, performs well, and is always available. The candidate will oversee the work performed and manage operational aspects of the managed service provider relationship.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with SAP database management systems such as SAP HANA, Oracle, or Microsoft SQL Server, and be familiar with data backup and recovery methodologies and disaster recovery planning for SAP environments.

In addition, the candidate should have experience in monitoring and optimizing the performance of SAP systems, knowledge of security protocols and access controls for SAP systems, and familiarity with relevant data privacy and protection regulations for SAP systems.

The successful candidate will also be required to define policies and standards for the management of the SAP Landscape and Oracle services, oversee the management of Microsoft SQL database services across the organisation, and oversee the management of Oracle services (Database, Forms & Reports) in the organisation.

The role requires strong communication and documentation skills, as well as proven analytical and problem-solving skills. A strong team player with a growth mindset is essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 3 - 5 years' experience as an SAP Basis administrator or DBA
  • Experience working with SAP database management systems such as SAP HANA, Oracle, or Microsoft SQL Server
  • Familiarity with data backup and recovery methodologies and disaster recovery planning for SAP environments
  • Experience in monitoring and optimizing the performance of SAP systems
  • Knowledge of security protocols and access controls for SAP systems
  • Familiarity with relevant data privacy and protection regulations for SAP systems
