To succeed in this role, you will require:
- Qualification:
- A degree or master's in occupational therapy from a recognized institution.
- Registration with CORU or proof of pending registration at application stage.
Additionally, you should possess:
- Knowledge and Experience:
- Knowledge of individual care planning and experience contributing to individual risk assessment.
- Post-qualification work experience as an occupational therapist within disability services/mental health services.
- Evidence of a commitment to continuous professional development (CPD).
- Experience in implementing sensory integration approaches with a recognized sensory integration course completed.
You will also need to demonstrate:
- Essential Skills:
- Strong leadership skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and judgment.
- Excellent communication and team-working skills.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work in a self-directed manner in a dynamic fast-paced environment.
