Accounting Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Leader to join our dynamic accounting practice in Dublin. As a key member of our team, you will have real input, autonomy, and the opportunity to shape the future of our firm.

As an Accounting Leader, you will take the lead on a varied portfolio of SME clients, acting as their main point of contact for all accounting and tax matters. You will oversee the preparation of financial statements, corporation tax compliance, company secretarial filings, VAT, and payroll returns. Additionally, you will manage workflows and delegate tasks across the accounting team to ensure efficient and timely delivery.

Responsibilities include reviewing and signing off on files, outputs, and financial statements prior to final issue. You will also provide expert technical guidance to team members and clients. Furthermore, you will work closely with existing clients to uncover new opportunities and offer value-added services.

The ideal candidate will possess strong working knowledge of FRS 102 and tax compliance across key heads: Corporation Tax, PAYE, VAT. They will also have experience managing both clients and internal teams. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, Bright) and Microsoft Office is essential.

Requirements:
  • Essential:
    • Qualified ACA (or equivalent), with a minimum of 5 years' post-qualification experience in practice.
    • Strong working knowledge of FRS 102 and tax compliance across key heads: Corporation Tax, PAYE, VAT.
    • Experience managing both clients and internal teams.
    • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, Bright) and Microsoft Office.
  • Desirable:
    • Experience working with multi-entity clients.
    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and growing organisation.
    • Strong organisational and time management skills.
    • Familiarity with company secretarial compliance.
