Software Architect: Enabling AI Innovation

In this pivotal role, you will lead the design of a new software stack for AI accelerators to unlock Automotive applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evolve an overall technical strategy that balances ambition and pragmatism.

  • Define and drive the technical direction of engineering teams, ensuring seamless integration of hardware accelerated neural networks into functionally safe real-time applications.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in software frameworks like PyTorch, guiding the implementation of optimized neural network designs for Arm's accelerators.
  • Design software tooling to streamline neural network deployment and runtime execution environments suitable for real-time and safety-critical applications.
  • Work closely with commercial teams to understand customer needs and help engineering management plan and deliver on key requirements.

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience developing software for safety-critical applications following formal safety processes and analysis such as ISO 26262 and related standards.
  • Expertise in GPU, NPU, or accelerator driver architecture and development, particularly with memory management and execution synchronization.
  • Strong C/C++ software development background and experience with embedded platforms and OSes like INTEGRETY, QNX, or VxWorks.
  • Deep understanding of computer system fundamentals with a keenness to learn and adapt.
  • Experience with requirements analysis, software architecture definition, and documentation.
