Strategic Supplier Management Director

The role of the Strategic Supplier Management Director is to oversee all supplier activities at a program level across our Global Drug Development Portfolio. The individual in this position will be accountable for the end-to-end delivery of suppliers and vendors to ensure the success of our clinical studies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing a program view of supplier performance relative to the defined strategy
  • Defining and aligning program strategies in close collaboration with internal stakeholders
  • Reviewing geographic scope of global vendors and driving local vendor service delivery discussions with country representatives
  • Understanding upcoming portfolio demand within Program through collaboration with Clinical Operational Program Head (COPH) role
  • Supporting activities for Health Authority (HA) inspections/Audit readiness
  • Enabling early engagement with suppliers during protocol development & feasibility stage
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 10+ years relevant industry experience, including expertise in clinical operations leadership of multidisciplinary teams
  • Experience of Neuroscience is strongly preferred
  • Advanced degree in science or business with equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated executive leadership in developing and managing external and internal strategic relationships
  • Excellent understanding of clinical trial methodology, GCP, and medical terminology
  • Strong technical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
