Job Title

Protecting Health and Environment is a critical aspect of our organization's overall strategy. We are seeking a highly skilled individual to lead our health and safety initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety programs that meet regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Conduct audits, accident investigations, and trend analysis to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve EHS issues and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide consultation and support on EHS projects and programs, including maintaining hazardous communication plans and other regulatory required documentation.
  • Develop safe work practices, institute and revise lockout/tag-out procedures, confined space/permit program, and process safety rule procedures.
  • Conduct safety audits, support inspections, and maintain local regulatory required documentation.
  • Work on the development of hazardous incident procedures.
  • Manage the development, implementation, and maintenance of safety programs such as management systems requirements, hazard communication, control of change, reporting site key performance factors, personal protective equipment, emergency response plan, regulatory reporting, and data collection.
  • Maintain site permits and comply with all reporting and permit application requirements under all related local and regional laws and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of related Health/Safety Engineering experience.
  • Strong technical and organizational skills with a demonstrated track record of timely compliance with filing requirements of various regulatory agencies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, comfortable leading meetings and formally presenting recommendations.
  • Proficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), email, and database management skills.
