We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Development Professional to join our team in Dundalk. This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to gain extensive experience with exciting projects and progress in their career.

The client is seeking candidates with setting out experience and at least 2 – 3 years experience.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Liaising with project managers
  • Regularly checking site drawings and specifications, and setting out the site accordingly
  • Being on hand for any technical queries and resolving them as efficiently as possible
  • Assisting in any emergency situation on site
  • Ensuring quality control
  • Supervising direct site teams and sub-contractor site teams, providing clear communication and daily tasks
  • Planning and coordinating plant, machinery, and equipment
  • Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times and ensuring all other site staff are following regulations
  • Ensuring all aspects of site work are completed to a high standard
  • Regularly updating the site diary
  • Carrying out toolbox talks
  • Ensuring all staff receive full site inductions
  • Attending site meetings and discussing any potential problems
  • Assisting in managing traffic on site
  • Liaising with clients/consultancies/the public
  • Providing reports to site management

Infrastructure Development Professional Requirements:

  • Civil engineer degree
  • 2 – 3 years+ experience in a similar role
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills
  • Team player, who has the ability to self-start and work independently
  • Experience working on civil projects
  • Setting out knowledge
  • Full driving licence
