The Ardilaun Hotel is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Duty Manager to oversee day-to-day operations and ensure high standards of service for our guests.

We are a 4-star hotel located in Galway, offering luxury bedrooms, a conference centre, wedding venue, and leisure club facilities. Our serene and secluded setting provides the perfect environment for guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the management team to guarantee smooth running of the hotel operation
  • Develop a welcoming and hospitable atmosphere for guests
  • Address guest feedback and implement enhancements to improve overall satisfaction
  • Ensure all staff adhere to the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) manual and hotel policies
  • Direct the team in operational departments and maintain a strong presence on the floor
  • Assist the Head of Department in continually improving procedures and systems

Professional Requirements and Experience:

  • Proven experience in hotel management or a related field
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Knowledge of hotel operations, reservation systems, and customer service principles
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including late night, early morning, and weekends
