Backend Software Developer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Backend Software Developer to join our team. This role will involve developing and maintaining scalable, efficient, and reliable backend systems that power the marketing tools used by millions of customers worldwide.

The ideal candidate will have experience building backend systems in Java or other object-oriented programming languages. Strong proficiency in algorithms, system design, and distributed systems concepts is also required.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality backend services using Java or other relevant technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business goals into features that deliver real value for our users.
  • Contribute to architecture discussions and design reviews to help define how backend systems are built.
  • Oversee features throughout the development lifecycle, from implementation to launch and maintenance.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience building backend systems in a production environment.
  • Proficiency in Java or another object-oriented programming language.
  • Experience with system design, algorithms, and distributed systems concepts.
  • Experience with databases (Postgres), or similar technologies.
