Operational Excellence Leader

The role of Operational Excellence Leader is crucial in driving forward-thinking strategies to enhance production efficiency, quality, and employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership to Shift Managers and production teams to drive SQDCP objectives.
  • Ensure full Health & Safety compliance across the plant, promoting a Safety First culture through active engagement.
  • Guarantee all manufacturing processes comply with Quality and Regulatory standards.
  • Strategically plan resources for optimal unit flow through the manufacturing process to meet production schedules.
  • Monitor and optimize stock levels of Work-In-Progress (WIP) in production areas.
  • Ensure the production area adheres to required environmental standards.
  • Lead internal and external audits to ensure high standards are maintained.
  • Develop team members through coaching, delegation, performance reviews, and provision of developmental assignments/projects.
  • Collaborate with Continuous Improvement (CI) teams to identify and execute opportunities enhancing work processes and methods, reducing waste and improving efficiency.
  • Lead the weekly Business Operation System (BOS) process to deliver line productivity and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) improvements.
  • Support project planning as required.
