Senior Cybersecurity Penetration Tester

As a lead cybersecurity expert, you will spearhead the discovery of vulnerabilities within web and mobile applications and their supporting systems. Your exceptional skills in penetration testing will enable our teams to strengthen our defenses and stay ahead of potential threats.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough vulnerability assessments using manual techniques and automated tools.
  • Compile comprehensive reports detailing findings and present results to key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with operations and software development teams to address identified weaknesses.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience.
  • At least 7 years of IT experience, with at least 5 years in web application penetration testing or ethical hacking.
  • Preferred certifications: OSCP, GWAPT, GXPN, GPEN, LPT, CEH, or other relevant security certifications.

Desirable Skills:

  • Manual testing experience across OWASP Top 10 categories.
  • Understanding of application security mechanisms, including authentication, authorisation, and data validation.
  • Proficiency with Burp Suite, nmap, Wireshark, and Metasploit.
  • Knowledge of programming/scripting languages such as Python, Java, or SQL.
  • Familiarity with web services technologies (XML, JSON, SOAP, REST) and frameworks (J2 EE,.NET).
