Early Years Room Leader Position

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to lead our early years team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality care and education to children, ensuring that their developmental needs are met.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of child development and educational theories, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills.
As a Lead Early Years Educator, you will be responsible for:
- Leading a team of early years educators and support staff;
- Developing and implementing curriculum plans and learning experiences that meet the needs of children;
- Ensuring the physical and emotional safety of children at all times;
- Monitoring and reporting on children's progress and development;
- Contributing to the overall management and administration of the childcare centre.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- A minimum of one year's experience in a similar early years leadership role;
- FETAC Level 6 (or equivalent) in Early Childhood Education;
- Leadership capability, reliability, empathy, and passion for working with children;
- Fluent English language skills;
- Strong understanding of Aistear and Siolta frameworks;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
