Senior Mechanical Engineer Role

Are you a highly skilled mechanical engineer looking for a challenging opportunity? We have an excellent position available for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team.

About the Role

We are seeking a senior mechanical engineer with significant experience in managing small to medium-scale projects. The ideal candidate will have a degree in mechanical or building services engineering, chartership, and a strong track record of career progression.

The successful candidate will lead projects, take briefs from project leads, and deliver and control tasks required. They will also possess excellent client-facing skills, be able to respond promptly and efficiently to client needs, and have a deep understanding of project management principles.

This role offers a competitive salary, opportunities for career progression to associate and director level, a matched company pension contribution, 20 days' holidays, flexitime, mobile phone, laptop, tablet, and a top-of-the-line office in an excellent location.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Must have a degree in mechanical or building services engineering
  • Chartership, or in the process of gaining chartership in the near future is a distinct advantage
  • Minimum of 7 years postgraduate experience with evidence of career progression and management of (or significant input into) small to medium-scale projects
  • Ability to lead projects and be able to take a brief from the project lead on large projects and deliver and control the tasks required
  • Demonstrable experience in client-facing roles, an appreciation of and an understanding of the importance of prompt and efficient response and resolution to client needs
