Job Title: Registered General Nurse

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable individual to work as a Registered General Nurse in the Lisnagry area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to make a difference in the lives of children with disabilities.



Job Description:

This role involves providing one-on-one support to clients with varying needs in their own home. You will be working closely with the client and their family to ensure their physical, emotional, and social needs are met. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a similar role and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.



The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to maintain confidentiality at all times. They will also be required to undergo Garda Vetting and register with the INMO or affiliated union.



Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • In date and current NMBI pin
  • Willingness to undergo any training required
  • All nurses are required to undergo Garda Vetting
  • Nurses must be Willing to register with the INMO or affiliated union
  • Full immunizations and Vaccination history will need to be provided


Benefits:

  • Rates of pay: €31.20 per hour (Monday-Friday days), €35.50 per hour (Monday-Friday nights), €35.50 per hour (Saturdays), €45 per hour (Sundays)
  • Sick pay available
  • Discounted fuel card available
  • Up to €500 refer a friend fee provided - If you refer another candidate and if they are activated for work a fee will be awarded up to €500 depending on the candidates qualifications, this is given when the recently activated candidate has worked 150 hours for us
  • Sign on bonus of €250 after 100 hours worked


Nursing Duties:

  • Airway management
  • Suctioning as required
  • Enteral feeding via G-J tube
  • Urinary catheter management
  • Positioning/skin integrity management
  • Infection control and disposal of clinical waste
  • Pain management
  • CPR using ambu-bag if required
  • End of life care if required
  • Working in the home environment
  • Professional boundaries/confidentiality


Licence/Certification:

  • PIN issued by NMBI (required)


Work Authorisation:

  • Ireland (required)
