Job Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team and make a difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities.

To be successful in this role, you will need strong leadership skills, experience in management or supervision, and a relevant qualification in social care.

You will be responsible for providing clinical and care support services, supervising nursing and support teams, and contributing to the development of nursing standards and protocols.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing a residential service and ensuring quality, regulatory, and legislative compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strong leadership in clinical practice and act as a resource and role model for clinical practice.
  • Lead, supervise, and support nursing and support teams in the provision of clinical and care support services.
  • Ensure all relevant records and documentation are kept appropriately and up to date.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of nursing standards, protocols, and guidelines consistent with the highest standards of care.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with individuals based on respect and equality.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years in a management or supervisory role in health or social care.
  • Registered in the relevant division of the Register of Nurses & Midwives maintained by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) or entitled to be so registered.
  • A relevant management qualification.
  • Candidates must demonstrate evidence of continuous professional development.
  • Full current driving license with access to your own vehicle.
  • Excellent IT skills.
