We are seeking an Operations Manager for Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) services to lead our team on a large-scale Residential project in Dublin.

About the Role:
  • Oversee the installation of M&E services, ensuring strict compliance with client specifications.
  • Effectively manage relationships with services contractors and other related sub-contractors/supply chain partners.
  • Analyse data to identify critical sequences and quantify resources required for key management decisions.
  • Review and report on specifications and design drawings, guaranteeing appropriate service/design decisions are met.
  • Develop proposals at sketch, detailed design, and production stages where deemed necessary.
  • Coordinate the planning and management of design team drawings and other documentation of design and installation.
  • Programme and facilitate the flow of information between the design team and services subcontractors.
  • Attend client meetings and provide updates on progress.
  • Organise and chair coordination meetings for services subcontractors.
  • Plan work and organise plant and site facilities to meet project deadlines.
  • Review subcontractor submittals on plant proposals and procurement routes and track these as required.
  • Inspect, assess, and verify the commissioning of MEP systems on-site.
  • Coordinate the timely submission of safety file data for the client upon project completion.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • A relevant engineering degree or diploma, or a related discipline is required.
  • Prior experience of 8+ years with a main contractor or services contractor/consultancy is preferred.
  • Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, sprinkler, and process systems/construction is essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages is required.
  • An individual with excellent interpersonal skills, strong written, and oral communication skills is necessary.
  • Able to demonstrate high responsiveness and ability to work independently.
  • A proven track record in commercial/industrial or residential projects is beneficial.
  • Willingness to contribute and adhere to quality and safety requirements.
