About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Management Expert to join our team at eir evo. As a Mechanical Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing healthcare projects in Galway.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Project Handover: Attend project handover meetings with the Contracts Manager, Project Manager, and Engineer to receive a full project package handover and develop QEHS documents.
  • Site Office Setup: Set up the site office and stores, including erecting Quinn Downes Installation signage.
  • Site Maintenance: Maintain the site office and stores to a high standard throughout the project.
  • Reporting: Issue bi-weekly P&T HILTI reports and project reports at intervals set by the main contractor.
  • Programme of Works: Assist the Contracts Manager in producing a programme of works for the project.
  • Payroll Assistance: Assist payroll with any timesheet queries that may arise.
  • Drawing Coordination: Coordinate mechanical services and builders' work drawings.
  • Material Ordering: Order materials and check plant delivery dates to ensure alignment with the programme.
  • Variation Notification: Notify the Contracts Manager of all variations on-site and complete variations only upon receipt of instruction.
  • Meetings: Attend site meetings and whiteboard meetings with the main contractor to review weekly progress updates.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all installations meet Quinn Downes Installation standards.
  • Commissioning: Oversee the commissioning and testing of mechanical services.
  • Project Closeout: Handle project closeout actions and decant from the site.
Desired Criteria
  • Previous site management experience in the HVAC industry is required.
  • Healthcare project experience is advantageous.
  • Proficient use of MS Office programmes is essential.
  • A driven individual who strives to achieve success on every project and dedicates time and effort needed to ensure projects are completed to a high standard and on time.
  • An excellent communicator and leader who can motivate themselves and others to meet stringent deadlines.
