We are seeking a seasoned Civil Engineer to join our client's team as a Site Operations Manager. In this critical role, you will oversee the planning and execution of watermain and utility projects in Galway, ensuring timely completion and maintaining the highest standards of quality.

Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Execution

You will develop and implement effective project plans, coordinating site activities and resources to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.

Technical Leadership

As a technical expert, you will revise site drawings and specifications, control plant, equipment, and materials, and maintain a safe working environment.

Staff Management and Development

You will lead and mentor site staff, providing guidance on tasks and resolving technical queries to ensure efficient project delivery.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification
  • 2-3 years' experience in watermain and utility projects
  • Setting out experience and knowledge of relevant construction methods
  • Team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Confident user of Microsoft Office software
