Main Responsibilities:

  • To achieve the Leading Hotels of the World Quality Assurance targets.
  • To provide exceptional guest service and care.
  • To have a deep understanding of the Hotel's Vision & Mission statement.
  • To maintain clean and well-organised areas of responsibility and adhere to cleaning checklists.
  • To report defective materials and equipment to the relevant Departments.
  • To control the ambience in departments.
  • To promote security throughout the Hotel.
  • To have strong product knowledge of the hotel.
  • To be flexible with work schedules for uninterrupted service.
  • To provide support where necessary.
  • To comply with the hotel's cash handling procedure.

Accountabilities:

  • To carry out duties according to departmental Standards Manual.
  • To communicate effectively within the hotel.
  • To stay informed about menu updates, promotions and events.
  • To be knowledgeable about new products.
  • To perform cleaning tasks as required.
  • To liaise with other departments for efficient guest requests.

Mission Statement:

  • To participate in appraisal reviews when requested.
  • To understand and adhere to the hotel's employee handbook.
  • To attend daily departmental briefings.
  • To attend monthly departmental meetings/ General Team Meetings when required.
  • To follow hotel grooming procedures.
  • To clock in and out of Timepoint at the start and finish of each shift and for breaks.
  • To inform your manager if you did not receive your break entitlement.

We seek two satisfactory references, which could be a corporate email and/or phone number or a letter on headed paper signed by the manager / HR.
