Site Reliability Software Developer

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer, Site Reliability Engineering to join our team in Dublin, Ireland. As a mid-level engineer, you will play a key role in driving progress and solving complex problems within our organization.
The ideal candidate will have experience with software development, code review, documentation, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems. You will be responsible for writing product or system development code, reviewing code developed by other engineers, and contributing to existing documentation or educational content.
- You will also participate in design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is required, along with 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on optimizing existing systems, building infrastructure, and eliminating work through automation. Our SRE team focuses on ensuring that Google Cloud's services have reliability, uptime appropriate to customer needs, and a fast rate of improvement.
