Job Overview

This role involves managing all aspects of grid strategy for a portfolio, including connection applications, delivery, commissioning and optimization.

As a Grid Manager, you will work closely with teams in Ireland and the UK to develop and implement strategic initiatives that drive business growth and success.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of grid matters, excellent project management skills, and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement grid strategy for a portfolio of assets
  • Manage all stages of grid connection process from initial site selection to commercial operation
  • Provide technical guidance and support to teams in Ireland and the UK
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and refine opportunities for existing and new grid-based projects
  • Represent the company on industry forums and engagement with TSO & DSO
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of UK and Ireland grid connections and testing processes
  • Proven experience in managing and optimizing grid connection process
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
