Digital Design Engineer Role Overview

We are seeking a talented professional to fill the position of Digital Design Engineer, responsible for developing digital designs for complex mixed-signal ICs in cutting-edge CMOS FinFET processes.

Main Responsibilities:
  • To design and implement algorithms for clock and data recovery, adaptive digital control, and DSP using HDL such as Verilog or VHDL.
  • To collaborate with the architecture team to understand proposed algorithms and provide feedback regarding design implementation.
  • To verify digital designs to ensure basic functionality prior to handing them over to the verification team.
  • To use standard industry tools for HDL checking, e.g. CDC, RDC, Lint.
  • To assist the verification team in debugging identified issues.
  • To support silicon bring up and debug.
  • To create clear design specifications and implementation documentation.
Essential Skills:
  • Extensive experience in RTL design methodologies, specification development, and design implementation.
  • Familiarity with HDL design using Verilog or VHDL, with Verilog being preferred.
  • Experience in modern digital ASIC methodologies including verification, STA, signal integrity, DFT, synthesis, and physical implementation.
