The following qualifications and experience are required:

  1. Validated Children's Nursing qualifications
  2. A current NMBI Pin number
  3. Eligibility to live and work in Ireland
  4. A post-registration level 9 qualification in palliative care or equivalent
  5. At least one year of experience as a registered nurse and a minimum of one year of specialist area experience in palliative care
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  7. Ability to lead and make high-level clinical decisions
  8. Highly competent IT and computer skills
  9. Capacity to delegate tasks and responsibilities
  10. Effective time management and workload control
  11. A valid driving license
