Description of Post

The Lecturer will play a vital role in delivering high-quality education and fostering academic excellence within the institution. The successful candidate will teach and develop engaging course content, supervise student research projects, and contribute to curriculum development.

This role involves supporting students' academic and personal development while contributing to the institution's community and research goals.

Additionally, the lecturer will engage in research activities, publishing in peer-reviewed journals and participating in academic collaborations.

The post relates primarily to the teaching on the M.Sc. and B.Sc. in Clinical Measurement Physiology programmes within the Department of Health and Nutritional Sciences.

Essential Qualifications

  1. An Honours Degree (2.2 or higher), as specified in the National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ L8), in Clinical Measurement Physiology, or equivalent recognised professional qualifications.
  2. Three years relevant post-qualification clinical experience in Neurophysiology and have a working knowledge of Clinical Measurement physiology/ Clinical Physiology.
  3. Current knowledge and skills in Clinical Measurement/ Clinical Physiology.
