Business Development Manager Position

This is a leadership role that requires strong sales and management skills to drive revenue growth in the hotel industry.

  • We are seeking a driven Business Development Manager to lead our team in achieving maximum revenue opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop the overall sales strategy for the property, aligning with hotel sales goals.
  2. Explore new markets, analyze activities, and report on progress.
  3. Provide leadership on selling techniques, monitor team results, and adjust strategies accordingly.
  4. Collaborate with Senior Management to optimize hotel bookings and availability.
  5. Offer insights on local market conditions and participate in Revenue meetings as needed.
  6. Prepare budgets and develop goals for the department.
  7. Build strong relationships with key accounts and implement sales strategies to achieve targets.
  8. Ensure accurate recording of sales reports and data generated from the Sales & Marketing team.
  9. Monitor service quality and teamwork, offering input to enhance value.
  10. Develop sales training programs for all departments and ensure alignment with hotel sales strategy.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience within the hotel industry, preferably in a 4-star property.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Knowledge of hotel operations, sales, and marketing principles.
