**Construction Leadership Opportunity**

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in construction leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. They will also have knowledge of construction methods, procedures, and practices, as well as experience in managing subcontracts, including safety, schedule, cost, and quality.

The Construction Lead will work closely with the Construction Manager to ensure that all projects are constructed in accordance with drawings, specifications, applicable standards, and good construction practices. They will also be responsible for supervising and managing site staff, including construction superintendents, trade supervisors, and sub-contractors.

The successful candidate will possess a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and have significant years' experience in a similar role. Biotech/Pharma knowledge and excellent multi-disciplinary knowledge are also highly desirable.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Manage the construction phase of projects, ensuring that all necessary resources are available and utilized effectively.
  • Develop site execution SOPs to guide field supervisors.
  • Comply with company construction methods, procedures, and practices, particularly those related to safety, quality assurance, personnel, and industrial relations.
  • Manage subcontracts, including safety, schedule, cost, and quality.
  • Ensure that statutory and legal requirements are observed.
  • Direct and control the activities of assigned staff and their functions.
  • Carry out assessments and appraisals of staff and report results according to company practice.
  • Determine the need for supervisor training and make recommendations.
  • Record and share lessons learned from projects.
  • Encourage innovative ideas and utilization of best technology available.
  • Supervise and manage all site CSA staff, including construction superintendents, trade supervisors, and sub-contractors.

**Qualifications**

A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and significant years' experience in a similar role are required. Biotech/Pharma knowledge and excellent multi-disciplinary knowledge are also highly desirable. Excellent communication and people management skills are essential for success in this position.
