Job Description
We are seeking a visionary technology director to lead the development of our flagship communications product suite. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing large-scale software development projects and leading a team of engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.
About the Role
- Manage teams of engineers across different disciplines to deliver complex software projects on time and within budget.
- Owning product development delivery for Employee Communications, ensuring timely and quality delivery across the product roadmap.
- Represent Employee Communications Engineering across the wider Product & Technology organization, ensuring alignment with DevOps, QA, Product Design capabilities and delivery plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead development best practices across the Engineering function, ensuring sound development discipline, efficiency, and quality.
- Collaborate with the team, management, and other teams to develop a culture of continuous improvement (process and technical).
- Drive an architectural vision for Employee Communications technology, working with architects to ensure seamless integration.
Requirements
- Proven success in managing software development teams responsible for building and operating large-scale SaaS platforms.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and DevSecOps model.
- Experience with distributed systems, databases, and search.
- Strong knowledge of agile software development, infrastructure operations, and quality assurance practices and principles.
