Senior Financial Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Operations Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to shape their career and make a significant impact in the financial services industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our financial team, ensuring that all tasks are completed accurately and on time. They will also be responsible for providing detailed analysis of escalated issues and recommending actions for resolution.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of stakeholders, including clients, internal teams, and external partners. You will be responsible for conducting service reviews, reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs), and identifying areas for improvement.

You will also be responsible for managing SOC1, internal audit reviews, risk, and control tasks. Additionally, you will conduct performance reviews of staff and regular one-to-one meetings to ensure that employees are meeting their goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the financial team
  • Provide detailed analysis of escalated issues
  • Conduct service reviews and report on KPIs
  • Identify areas for improvement
  • Manage SOC1, internal audit reviews, risk, and control tasks
  • Conduct performance reviews of staff
  • Regular one-to-one meetings with employees

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in OTC Middle Office team
  • People management experience is an advantage
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor's Degree/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience of systems such as Market Trade Manager, Trioptima, Calypso an advantage
