A Dynamic Veterinary Career Opportunity Awaits

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced veterinary surgeon to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mixed animal practice and be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
About the Role:This is a full-time position with a 1 in 3 rota for evenings and weekends. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting small animal consultations and surgery, including follow-ups and chases. They will also perform routine large animal work and call-outs, carry out routine surgeries, and help maintain hospital standards and support colleagues with professional development.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- A minimum of 12 years experience in a veterinary role
- Confidence working independently
- The ability to enjoy a varied caseload of small and large animals
- Eagerness to develop professionally and benefit from mentoring
- Excellent communication skills with clients and colleagues
- 23 days of annual leave
- Travel expenses provided at €7,500-€10,000 per annum
- Paid Veterinary Council and Veterinary Defence Society membership
- 5 paid CPD days per year, with encouragement for ongoing professional development
- A company vehicle will be provided if needed
