Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled Corporate Tax Director to join our expanding Tax department in Dublin. As a seasoned tax professional, you will leverage your expertise to develop innovative solutions for complex tax issues and oversee high-profile client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management: Manage senior-level client relationships and serve as the main point of contact for a portfolio of large, complex clients.
  • Technical Expertise: Demonstrate a solid understanding of corporate tax issues, including corporate interest restrictions, corporate loss reform, and Senior Accounting Officer queries.
  • Business Development: Pursue new business opportunities, meeting financial targets and participating in tender processes by crafting personalized proposals.
  • Tax Advisory: Serve as the key advisor for sophisticated tax matters, analyzing and interpreting data to identify business issues and applying technical knowledge to develop solutions.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead, coach, and mentor managers and junior team members, providing regular feedback, conducting appraisals, and fostering team growth and development.
  • Financial Management: Take responsibility for the financial management of client accounts, ensuring effective budget control and profitability.

Requirements:

  • ACA, ACCA, or CTA qualified.
  • Minimum 7 years post-qualification experience within a tax department of a large practice, ideally in a Big 6 firm.
  • Proven ability to navigate complex tax issues and identify opportunities for clients.
  • A respected and approachable leader, who takes an active interest in team performance and wellbeing.
  • Capable of working independently while addressing broader team challenges.
  • Skilled at developing trusted relationships with both clients and team members.
