Job Description

The purpose of this role is to identify and address the needs of vulnerable children and their families, providing individualized support and guidance to promote resilience and well-being.

This position requires a highly skilled and empathetic professional who can work collaboratively with individuals, families, and community partners to deliver effective interventions and programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one and group support to children, young people, and their parents/guardians.
  • Engage in outreach work to connect with families and young people at risk.
  • Develop and implement personalized plans to address specific needs and challenges.
  • Foster positive working relationships with stakeholders, including professionals from relevant agencies.
  • Participate in service planning and contribute to the identification of gaps and needs within the community.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum BA Degree in Applied Social Care or related field.
  • Eligibility to register with CORU.
  • Experience working with vulnerable populations, particularly children and families.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
