Associate Director Position in Civil and Environmental Engineering

You will oversee diverse projects including circular economy infrastructure such as biological treatment facilities, waste transfer stations, recycling facilities, energy from waste, landfill remediation, engineering landfills, landfill capping, and public realm enhancements. You will be responsible for delivering these projects on time while maintaining quality standards.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing civil and environmental design teams
  • Developing new business opportunities and client relationships
  • Mentoring team members to foster professional growth
  • Creating technical reports and tender documentation
  • Collaborating with project owners for planning and managing workflows
  • Ensuring quality assurance and safety compliance

The ideal candidate profile includes a Level 8 or 9 qualification in Civil and/or Environmental Engineering or related field, Chartered Engineer status, at least 15 years of design and project leadership experience, and proven multi-disciplinary design management skills. Experience with oral hearings is desirable.
