About the Job

The successful candidate will be responsible for practicing and maintaining up-to-date safety procedures, reporting concerns, documenting tasks, and maintaining confidentiality. They will also ensure each task is completed with dignity and respect for the customer.

A key aspect of this role is encouraging autonomy and decision-making, engaging in conversations, and attending shifts as scheduled.

Qualifications and Training

The ideal candidate will hold a QQI Level 5 Health Care Award or equivalent qualification. They will also require additional training in areas such as safeguarding, dementia, GDPR, and infection prevention and control.
