Arboretum Lifestyle & Garden Centre is a leading retailer of lifestyle products and garden centre services. We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to fill the position of Café Assistant Manager.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our café operates efficiently and effectively, providing exceptional service to our customers and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and serve customers with enthusiasm, providing exceptional service throughout their experience.
- Ensure that the café is cleaned, set up correctly, and maintained throughout the day.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently to process till transactions accurately.
- Assist with stock replenishment and maintain organised displays.
- Adhere to Food Safety Regulations at all times.
- Perform all Assistant Manager duties, including opening and closing procedures, coordinating with the Café Manager as necessary.
Requirements
- 2 Years previous experience in a food service supervisory/assistant Manager role is essential.
- Confident in interacting with customers and offering product recommendations.
- Food Safety Training is desirable.
- Flexibility to work weekdays and weekends.
