Job Title: Grid Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Grid Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading our grid strategy, managing all aspects of our portfolio, and working closely with our assets teams in Ireland and the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement our grid strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Manage the creation, socialization, and delivery of our grid plans, including feasibility assessments and connection applications.
  • Work closely with stakeholders, including TSOs, DSOs, equipment manufacturers, and electrical contractors, to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of grid matters that affect value drivers, including constraints, curtailments, firmness, TLAFs, etc.
  • Lead site feasibility assessments and provide assumptions for value drivers of projects associated with network connection and operation costs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Extensive knowledge of UK and Ireland grid connections, testing & compliance process.
  • Strong management and optimization skills, with experience dealing with stakeholders on different sides of the grid connection process.
  • Proven ability to work independently to deadlines, seeking guidance from other team members when required.
  • Experience of Site Feasibility Assessments and knowledge of Grid Code requirements.
  • Knowledge of power markets and project value drivers is an advantage.
