Job Title: Installation Team Leader

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead and manage a team of window and door fitters, delivering high-quality installations and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and carry out installations of uPVC and aluminium windows and doors to the highest standards.
  • Supervise and support junior fitters and labourers on site.
  • Accurately interpret and work from survey sheets.
  • Remove existing windows and doors safely and cleanly.
  • Apply insulation, sealants, and weatherproofing for long-term durability and energy efficiency.
  • Ensure the site remains safe, clean, and professional during and after work.
  • Liaise with office staff and project coordinators to flag issues or delays.
  • Communicate professionally with customers and keep them updated throughout the project.
  • Ensure all health and safety protocols are followed at all times (training provided).
  • Maintain van, tools, PPE, and scaffolding in good working order.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in window and door/glazing installations.
  • Skilled in both uPVC and aluminium systems.
  • Basic plastering skills (bonding and skimming).
  • Full, clean driving licence.
  • Valid Safe Pass, Manual Handling, Working at Heights, and Abrasive Wheel certification.
  • High attention to detail with a strong focus on quality workmanship.
  • Professional, reliable, and confident in managing small teams.
  • Conversational level of English (supplemental language training can be provided if required).
