The role of an Area Manager involves overseeing the daily operations of a service, fostering a clear vision and ensuring that services are delivered to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage a service to meet client needs
  • Maintain high-quality services by effective team management
  • Ensure confidentiality and handle sensitive information with care
  • Prioritize tasks, meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure
Requirements:
  • Nursing qualification (advanced qualifications advantageous)
  • Current registration with relevant nursing or health-related body
  • Eligible for registration on professional register at CORU
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a management role within the health sector
  • Management qualification and financial/budgetary expertise required
  • Full manual driving licence necessary for travel

This is a permanent full-time position offering excellent benefits. The successful candidate will be expected to engage with external agencies, attend meetings outside normal working hours and participate in shared on-call arrangements.

Annual leave entitlement: 28 days per annum. Remuneration: Competitive salary scale.
