Service Area Development Director

The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management and development of the Skylark Adult Service in Athenry. This role is part of the East Sector Management Team and requires a strong leadership and team-working skills to coordinate and support service teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Development and management of the Skylark Adult Service
- Day-to-day management of the service area
- Fostering and promoting the vision of the organization
- Reporting to the Sector Manager
- Nursing qualification (RNID/RNMH an advantage)
- Currently registered with the relevant regulatory body or relevant third-level qualification in the Health/Social Care Sector
- Minimum 5 years management experience in the Health Sector
- Management qualification required
- Excellent leadership, managerial and team-working skills
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Up-to-date knowledge of current thinking and practices in person-centred service delivery
- Proficient in ICT skills with good working knowledge of IT systems
- Maintaining confidentiality is a fundamental requirement
This is a permanent full-time position based in Athenry, Galway, with an on-call commitment and expectation to interface with external agencies and attend meetings outside normal working hours.
