About the Role
- Advise and implement tax strategy to ensure compliance with legal and statutory requirements.
- Manage accurate and timely submission of all tax filings including PAYE, VAT, and Corporation Tax.
- Enhance tax and finance governance across the company.
- Oversee the banking and treasury function, ensuring effective cash flow management.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive capital expenditure process.
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory obligations, and internal control systems.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify and address local taxation issues.
Qualifications and Skills
- Qualified Chartered Tax Advisor or Accountant with Tax Qualification (CTA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- At least 5 years PQE in taxation/accounting.
- Experience in the Not-for-Profit sector (desirable).
- Expertise in tax compliance and financial challenges.
- Strong communication and people management skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with accounting packages.
- Excellent analytical, reporting, and presentation skills.
