Job Description:

Our company is seeking an experienced Design/Project Engineer to lead their team in delivering major civil, road, and transportation projects. This senior role offers the opportunity to contribute to high-profile projects while working within a highly skilled and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and review feasibility studies and preliminary designs
  • Prepare detailed contract drawings using MX Roads or Civil 3D software
  • Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities to ensure project delivery
  • Manage procurement of sub-consultants, site investigations, and road contracts
  • Assess tenders, administer construction contracts, and ensure projects are delivered on time, to specification, and within budget

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Level 8 Honours Degree in Civil Engineering (Engineers Ireland accredited or equivalent)
  • Relevant experience in civil, roads, or transportation projects (5+ years)
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and MX Roads/Civil 3D software
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
