We are seeking a skilled Electrical Systems Engineer for our Dublin office. This role involves the management of Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS) from design through to commissioning and handover.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Specialist Systems Integrator (SI) in all aspects of their work, including health and safety, quality, design, pre-construction activities, and commissioning. They will also coordinate and manage the M&E contractor's installations in relation to the EPMS installations.
Management of these works will be carried out in accordance with the Project Specific Health and Safety and Quality Management Systems and processes.
The successful candidate will be an integral part of our team and will engage with other members of the CSA and MEP teams to support automation-related works across other works packages.
The Electrical Systems Engineer will report directly to the Project MEP Lead.
Responsibilities:- Experience in SI design and implementation of EPMS systems.
- Collaboration with engineering teams to deliver EPMS systems that meet project requirements.
- Experience in working with SI and installing contractors.
- Provide guidance and support to others in the team to ensure success in delivering projects.
- Oversee the execution of automation works, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Understand client expectations for automation systems and ensure they are delivered to their requirements.
- Provide technical expertise to troubleshoot and resolve complex EPMS issues.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including clients, SIs, installing contractors, equipment vendors, commissioning agents, and HSE and QAQC teams.
- Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure the reliability and performance of automation systems.
- Proven experience in managing EPMS works.
- In-depth knowledge of EPMS technologies, protocols, and industry standards.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Project management experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with relevant software and programming languages.
