Palliative Care Specialist Role

Are you a dedicated and compassionate nursing professional seeking a challenging role in palliative care?
This specialist position involves delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals and their families. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to the development and implementation of effective care plans, ensuring seamless coordination with other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive care plans, tailored to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient and effective care delivery.
- Participate in continuing education programs to enhance clinical skills and stay up-to-date on best practices.
- Contribute to the development of teaching materials for nursing and care staff.
- Registered General Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
- At least 12 months post-graduate experience (desirable).
- Prior experience in palliative care or oncology is highly desirable but not essential.
- Postgraduate Diploma or Masters in Health Sciences (Palliative Care) is desirable or willingness to pursue it.
- Makes a meaningful impact every day in the lives of patients and their families.
