Lead Early Years Educator Role

This is a dynamic opportunity to take on a leadership position in our North Dublin childcare centre. As an experienced educator, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of high-quality early years education and care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • School Leadership: Collaborate with the Centre Manager to develop and implement educational strategies that meet the needs of young children.
  • Team Management: Mentor and motivate a team of talented educators to deliver exceptional results.
  • Risk Management: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, including Tusla and ECCE standards.
  • Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with parents and guardians through effective communication and community engagement.
  • Operational Support: Assist with daily operations, including rosters, audits, and curriculum planning.
  • Crisis Management: Step into the Manager role when needed, providing calm and confident leadership during challenging situations.

We're Looking For:

  • Early Childhood Qualification: Minimum Level 6 qualification in Early Childhood Care and Education.
  • Leadership Experience: Previous experience in a leadership or senior educator position.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Strong knowledge of Aistear, Síolta, and best practice in early years learning, with excellent organisational, communication, and team leadership skills.
  • Calm Problem-Solving: A calm and proactive problem-solver with a child-first mindset.
