Medical Records Team Lead

The Medical Records Team Lead will play a pivotal role in supporting the Electronic Health Record (EHR) implementation across Ireland.

This is an ideal opportunity for a medical records expert who understands the intersections of medical records operations and health IT systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Main Objectives:
  • Deliver a new medical records workstream within a healthcare setting.
  • Implement a programme within project scope and governance guidelines.
  • Collaborate with other clinical leads to achieve common goals.
  • Lead decision-making processes towards issue resolution.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A degree or diploma in Health Information Management or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in HIM or medical records in a healthcare setting.
  • Essential Knowledge:
  • Electronic documentation standards, privacy legislation, and best practices in HIM.
  • Desirable Skills:
  • Project coordination, stakeholder engagement, and change management skills.
