We're looking for a skilled Health and Safety Advisor to join our team at TN Ireland in Limerick.

This position involves developing and implementing effective Health and Safety strategies to ensure a safe working environment.

About the Job:

  1. Conduct regular site inspections and audits as instructed by the BU HSE Manager
  2. Lead investigations into workplace incidents and accidents
  3. Work closely with the HSE Manager to produce comprehensive Health and Safety reports for senior management
  4. Identify potential gaps in Health and Safety coverage and report to the HSE Manager
  5. Offer expert advice on Health and Safety matters to tender and prequalification teams
  6. Participate in start-up meetings with your line manager and site teams
  7. Attend supply chain meetings when necessary
  8. Develop and deliver training programs to enhance safety awareness

Key Responsibilities:

  • IOSH/NEBOSH certification is desirable but not mandatory
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in the construction industry is required
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Health and Safety professional is essential
  • Working knowledge of temporary works is necessary
  • Previous experience as an internal auditor is beneficial
  • Excellent organizational skills, time management abilities, and performance management experience are required
