This role is an exciting opportunity within our Regulatory Risk & Oversight Office in Asset Servicing. The office oversees the management of regulatory risk across Asset Servicing, providing governance and oversight of the frameworks that enable understanding of regulatory obligations, mitigation of regulatory risks, and compliance with regulations applicable to Asset Servicing.

The Technical Regulatory Specialist will support both the Regulatory Change Oversight and Regulatory Risk Management pillars, connecting the dots across regulation applicability and compliance. The role reports to the Regulatory Framework & Governance Pillar Lead.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with regulatory subject matter peers to develop a deep understanding of regulatory requirements and ensure alignment with our business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive guidance and documentation on regulatory interpretations and applicability, in line with our corporate regulatory change management framework and process.
  • Represent our Asset Servicing stakeholders and the Regulatory Risk & Oversight Office at relevant working groups, to drive compliance with regulations and minimize regulatory risk.
  • Maintain accurate records and audit trails of regulatory interpretations and decisions, to facilitate effective review and assessment by internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of our regulatory risk management framework, to ensure it remains aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Take ownership of activities and projects, seeking support as needed to deliver high-quality results and foster a culture of transparency and trust within our organization.
