We are seeking an experienced R&D Engineer to join our team at Life Science Recruitment. As a key member of our product development team, you will play a vital role in the design, development, and testing of cutting-edge medical devices.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering or a related field, with a minimum of three years' experience in medical device design and product development. You will be responsible for developing device specifications, designing sub-assemblies and finished devices, and building and testing prototypes.
You will also be required to analyze test data, interpret results, and identify optimal solutions. Additionally, you will need to ensure quality in the product's design for durability, usability, reliability, functionality, marketability, and manufacturability.
A strong understanding of Design Controls and FDA, GMP, QSR, and ISO 13485 requirements is essential. Experience interfacing with clinicians and reducing feedback to device concepts is also highly desirable.
