Electrical Design Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join our team. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong technical expertise and excellent communication skills.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing electrical building services for various projects across different industries. This includes preparation of design concepts, evaluation of feasibility studies, and development of electrical building services designs/specifications from customer briefs.

You will work closely with other members of the design team to ensure that all designs meet current codes, guidelines, and best practices. Your attention to detail and ability to problem-solve will be essential in delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Level 7/8 Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical building services design principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit software.
  • Good understanding of design software and tools.
  • Practical experience in industrial/pharmaceutical environment.
  • Experience in controls, automation, or instrumentation design an advantage.
  • Irish market experience required.
